2. Data We Do Not Collect

PDF Mate processes all files locally in your browser. Your PDF files, images, and documents are never uploaded to our servers. We do not store, read, or have access to any files you use with our tools.

3. Account Data

If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address and name (provided at sign-up). This data is stored securely via Supabase and is used solely to manage your account and usage history. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use our site and to serve relevant advertisements through Google AdSense. You may opt out of personalised advertising via Google's Ad Settings. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

5. Google AdSense

We display advertisements via Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other sites. You can opt out of personalised ads at www.aboutads.info.

6. Third-Party Services

Some tools (Word to PDF, PDF to Word) use ConvertAPI for server-side conversion. Files sent through those tools are processed by ConvertAPI under their own privacy policy and are deleted immediately after conversion. We do not retain copies of these files.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect any personal data we hold. Account data is protected by Supabase's Row Level Security, meaning each user can only access their own records.

8. Children's Privacy

PDF Mate is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, and erasure of your personal data.
